Southwest Style Shredded Roast Beef

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pound beef roast defrosted
  • ½ cup water or broth
  • 1 cup green salsa
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Place defrosted beef roast in the slow cooker
  2. Pour the liquid into the slow cooker, onion, seasonings, and salsa.
  3. Slow cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  4. Shred with two forks.
  5. Use in soups, tacos, burritos, nachos, or salads!
