Southwest Style Shredded Roast Beef

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pound beef roast defrosted
  • ½ cup water or broth
  • 1 cup green salsa
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place defrosted beef roast in the slow cooker
  • Pour the liquid into the slow cooker, onion, seasonings, and salsa.
  • Slow cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  • Shred with two forks.
  • Use in soups, tacos, burritos, nachos, or salads!
